Chris Case

Chris Case advises and supports the Executive team on the development of Oxford PV strategy, particularly with respect to the commercialisation of its technology. Chris served as Chief Technology Officer at Oxford PV from 2014 to 2025, from the development of the tandem concept to mentoring and guiding the team at Oxford PV, Chris has been key to the success of Oxford PV.
With global experience in IP management and business growth, he previously served as CTO at BOC, part of Linde, directing strategy and R&D for an €8 billion enterprise. Chris is a recognized leader in the solar industry, serving on the boards of PVthin and the European Solar Manufacturing Council. Chris holds a PhD in materials science and an MSc in engineering from Brown University, where he began his career as Assistant Professor of Engineering.
