Oxford PV joins the Ultra Low-Carbon Solar Alliance
Leading solar energy efficiency with a good conscience – that’s the significance of Oxford PV joining the Ultra Low-Carbon Solar Alliance (ULCSA). As Oxford PV, the record-breaking perovskite-on-silicon tandem solar cell manufacturer, continues to scale up production, it reinforces its commitment to bringing sustainably made solar technology to the world.
Membership in the ULCSA will help Oxford PV build an understanding of product design requirements and standards, particularly in the US, for its next-generation tandem solar technology.
Laura Miranda Perez, Head of Sustainability and Government Affairs at Oxford PV embraced the partnership, saying: “High efficiency sustainable technology is the future of solar PV. And that future is not far off. By working with the ULCSA, we will be able to gather new insights into serving the rapidly growing US market.”
The membership is based on the fundamental understanding that the clean energy revolution cannot come at the expense of the environment. The ULCSA membership offers a community of likeminded changemakers, whose commitments to sustainability are core to their missions.
US-based ULCSA drives market visibility and deployment capability of PV manufacturers dedicated to low carbon solar. Together with its members, the Alliance is driving the awareness and adoption of sustainable supply chains in the solar energy field.
